The corona virus is here and we all need to take reasonable steps to protect ourselves and others. I'm in a pretty low risk group and I intend to keep it that way.
As things now stand, I'm happy to schedule a piano service call in Connecticut and Charleston. A standard service call takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
I have not been tested, but I show no symptoms and feel fine. You will not see me if I begin to show any symptoms.
I'm a bachelor and live alone (I know...sad) so nobody else is potentially bringing the virus into my home
I carry both alcohol and disinfectant wipes and use them every chance I have.
I do not use public transportation and only drive my own car. I haven't been in any kind of public transportation since late January.
I try to be very conscious of not touching my eyes, nose or mouth. I've been in remarkably good health for the last 2 years (not even the sniffles) and am playing close attention to any potential symptoms.
I've stopped going to the gym and am getting my exercise at home....well, I've stopped going to the gym.
Here is my specific protocol during the work day:
I spray 80% isopropyl alcohol on my hands before I come into your home and after I leave, before I touch my car.
I use a tissue to ring your doorbell and open your door.
If you prefer, I can wash my hands with anti-bacterial soap as soon as I come in, wear a mask and/or wear latex gloves though I do not feel they are necessary. If I'm sneezing or coughing, you won't see me!
I'm wipe your keys with a disinfectant when I arrive and as I leave.
